ANX_TSCORE was obtained using item response theory (IRT)-based summed score to T-score conversion tables for the PROMIS® Anxiety scale. This allows for the calculation of T-scores with mean = 50 and SD = 10 corresponding to the total score on the eight National Beta Test data elements tested, allowing results to be directly compared to general population PROMIS Anxiety values.
