Enrolled in CHIP Indicator — Ever in Calendar Year

This variable is contained in the following files:

PRVDR_CHIP_ENRLMT_IND

Indicates whether the provider was enrolled in the CHIP program; ever in the calendar year.

Comments

Note that providers who are enrolled in both CHIP and Medicaid programs would also have PRVDR_MDCD_ENRLMT_IND equals “1” when this variable equals “1”.
